Welcome to Forde Abbey
Forde Abbey in Dorset is a treasure in an area already known for its outstanding beauty. It is a family home as well as a living and breathing working estate, and welcomes visitors all year round.
Please explore further down this page and across our website to see what you can experience on a day visit here: a family outing in beautiful Dorset, children’s trails around the gardens or house, lovely gifts in our shop, a trip to our plant nursery, tasty refreshments in our tearoom – hopefully you will find something for everyone. If you have any questions or cannot find something on the website please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 01460 220231.
Now that the wind has blown so many leaves from the trees, the topiary and statuary really show to advantage around the garden, and would make excellent subjects for our Photographic Competition.
Please see the Your Visit page for full details of our current Christmas Shopping Offer and winter opening hours.
